Carousel

Now before you start saying, "Carousel, this guy is an idiot." That really is the title. When I began this painting, I had the intention of creating a scene utilizing the basic spectrum of deeper autumn colors. At first the painting seemed to take on the basic form of an antique carousel, but within a few days, I realized that my carousel looked a hell of a lot like Stonehenge . . . disgusted with the turn of events, I transformed the painting into the sea-scape you see on this page. (and that's the story I'm sticking with.)
